The Day Home Is More Than a Child Development Center.

Saint Vincent’s Day Home provides comprehensive early learning programs and a variety of family services to low-income families. Children from 2-years-old to kindergarten are welcome at the Day Home.

Our Mission

Since 1911, the mission of Saint Vincent’s Day Home has remained constant: to provide quality care, early childhood education and family services to those in greatest need ensuring that children are nurtured and educated, and their parents empowered to meet family responsibilities.

Our Vision

All young children will have the opportunity to thrive and learn in an environment dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential.

Our Values and Beliefs

Our core values are deeply rooted in a tradition of affirming the dignity of each person and the oneness of the family. We seek to be a high-performing, inclusive school that is enriched by and continually grows from our commitment to diversity, as embodied by our core beliefs and values.

Learning at the Day Home

We provide a comprehensive, early-learning program for toddlers and preschool-aged children, including a licensed full-day kindergarten and holiday care for older children. Our year-round program serves over 200 children between 2-years and 6-years old. Our nurturing environment and curriculum are tailored to meet each child’s developmental needs. The Day Home helps them thrive and grow.

Serving Families

Our Family Services programs are designed to empower families who have limited resources by providing them with comprehensive support including counseling, parent education, and advocacy services. Our aim is to encourage strong family connections and build solid foundations for their children’s future. We follow a two-pronged approach. First we address a family’s immediate childcare needs and social service referrals, while simultaneously providing children with a strong developmental foundation that will benefit them throughout their lives.
