On Friday, March 1, Saint Vincent’s Day Home honored long-term supporters Kristi Rasmussen and her husband Brian Tulloch, Board member and Golf Tournament organizer extraordinaire Wayne Ingbritson and Day Home founders The Sisters of the Holy Family represented by Sister Gladys Guenther, President at our annual Children’s Choice Award Dinner held at Scott’s Seafood Restaurant at Jack London Square in Oakland.

This year’s theme was Mardis Gras and guests enjoyed a performance by the children who greeted everyone at the front door with colorful bead necklaces, New Orleans style. The event was held in Scott’s newly renovated Pavilion and the Events Committee did a wonderful job with the table decorations.

The Hon. Carol Corrigan was Mistress of Ceremonies and Board member Eric Beegun made closing remarks. We would like to thank our volunteers, particularly the Events Committee; staff, supporters, guests and the folks at Scott’s for all their hard work and efforts. The dinner was a huge success.
