We hosted our very popular annual Golf Tournament on May 13 at Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland. A great crowd turned out to enjoy golf, wonderful food, exciting contests and the opportunity to meet up with friends and colleagues while raising funds For the Children.
Thanks also to our sponsors – Presenting sponsor Oakland Firefighters Sports Association; Supporting Sponsor Sequoyah Country Club Foundation; GNT Solutions – “I Don’t Play Golf” sponsor; and hole sponsors: AB&I Foundry, Charles Pankow Builders, the Honorable Lawrence Kay, Matt Haley, JD; the Honorable Carol Corrigan, and Corinne M. Mohrmann.
Saint Vincent’s Day Home is very grateful to the following organizations for providing food and drink for our golfers: Compadres Rio Grille of Napa, Fenton’s Creamery of Oakland, Crogan’s Montclair, and Tom Rinehart for supplying all the beverages found in the coolers around the course.
Our silent auction was, once again, a resounding success. One more thank you to all the donors of our excellent prizes.
It’s not too soon to begin planning for next year’s tournament, always held the first Monday after Mother’s Day. We promise you the best time you can have in the Bay Area at a golf tournament.
