Learn Pilates and Support the Day Home

A generous and thoughtful supporter of Saint Vincent’s Day Home, Faye Stevenson, is the owner of a wonderful Pilates studio on Howe Street in Oakland. Bayside Pilates opens their doors for a Pilates “education” series and the next session is Friday July 13 at 4pm.

The education series gives the Bayside Pilates team and the community an opportunity to explore Pilates-related topics that enhance a Pilates practice but require more mental rather than physical engagement.

The studio uses archival footage of the work performed by Joseph Pilates and shares information gathered from the many workshops they have attended.  Faye and her staff offer demonstrations, one on one instruction, and group instruction as appropriate for the topic of the evening.

The theme for next Friday is “Essentials: Footwork.” The class is free, but Bayside asks for a donation of $15-$25, all of which will go to benefit the Saint Vincent’s Day Home. If you’d like to attend, please email Faye to reserve a spot: [email protected] or call 510-521-5295.
