Questions Regarding Admissions at Saint Vincent’s Day Home

To apply for enrollment, please visit our center in person to collect a paper application.

We accept children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old. Please note that age requirements may vary for different programs or classes.

Yes, we maintain a waiting list for enrollment. If all spots are currently filled, we encourage you to add your child’s name to the waiting list, and we will notify you as soon as a spot becomes available.

Saint Vincent’s Day Home operates from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

We offer both full-time and part-time options. Tuition is subsidized by the state based on income. The amount paid is no more than 1% of monthly income.

As a nonprofit organization, we strive to make quality early learning accessible to all families. We offer need-based financial assistance and scholarships to eligible families. Please inquire with our admissions office for more information.

Once we receive your application, our admissions team will review it and reach out to schedule an interview and tour of our facility. 

Yes, during the enrollment process, we typically require documents such as your child’s birth certificate, immunization records, and any relevant medical information. We will provide you with a detailed list of required documents upon application.

We currently have three toddler classes that assist in potty training.

Absolutely! We encourage parental involvement and believe it plays a crucial role in a child’s development. We organize regular parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and events to foster strong partnerships between parents and our staff.

We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure individual attention and quality care. Our ratio typically ranges from 1/4 ratio for the toddlers (2 years old), 1/8 ratio for the 3 and 4-year-old children, and 1/14 ratio for the 5 and 6-year-old children.

We have been very lucky; many (at least 15) staff members have been with us for decades. We provide incentives to make Saint Vincent’s Day Home a great place to work. We offer paid time off, bonuses/raises and tuition reimbursement.

Yes. Saint Vincent’s Day Home provides free, fresh, and nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared daily in our on-site kitchen.
