A LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nov

Dear Friends of Saint Vincent’s Day Home,
As I reflect on this year’s blessings, I am filled with gratitude for the community that surrounds Saint Vincent’s Day Home. This year has been one of growth, resilience, and hope, and your generosity has made it possible for us to continue providing a nurturing environment where children and families thrive.

On a personal note, I feel incredibly blessed for my family. My son, Kennedy II, graduated college and is carrying forward our family’s value of giving back by teaching math at an inner-city charter middle school in Brooklyn, NY. My daughter, Viviana, is thriving in her third year at the University of Chicago, and my husband, Kennedy, and I celebrated 25 years of marriage this year—milestones for which I am deeply thankful.

Professionally, I am immensely grateful for each of you—our supporters, donors, and friends. Whether through your time, resources, or kind words, your encouragement fuels our mission. I want to give a heartfelt thanks to our incredible SVDH staff for their daily dedication to serving children and families and to the families who trust us with their precious little ones. Together, we are sowing the seeds of tomorrow, giving every child the opportunity to grow, learn, and dream big.

Thank you for being a vital part of our community. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous and peaceful Thanksgiving.

Below are some messages of gratitude from our leadership team.
Warm regards,

Alexandra Hilario
Executive Director
