I am the Early Learning Associate Director and I work closely with the Administrative Team and educational department to provide a high-quality, developmentally appropriate early learning program. My goal is to build on the strengths of both families and children.
Apart from my work, I enjoy spending time with my six grandchildren and reading.
I hold an AA Degree in Child Development and have 21 years of experience as a preschool teacher/supervisor. I also hold a Certificate in “Violence Intervention In Early Childhood,” and have 2 years of experience as the Early Learning Program Director. In addition, I have served as a parent volunteer for the Oakland Unified School District for 11 years.
