Hi, I’m Ms. Tammy, and I work as the Lead Teacher in the Hummingbirds Classroom. I’m a passionate and purpose-driven educator who genuinely enjoys inspiring and empowering young children. I believe that the way in which a teacher teaches is more important than what they teach. As Aristotle once said, “Those who know, do. Those that understand, teach.”
Besides being a teacher, I’m also a proud dog mom to a 7-year-old Chiweenie girl named Tatum. I love taking her for long walks through the beautiful city of San Francisco, and occasionally binge-watching my favorite shows.
I’ve worked in the early childhood education (ECE) field for over 35 years and at Saint Vincent’s Day Home for the past 15 years. I currently hold an ECE Site Supervisor Permit issued by the State of California.
